How to Change Your Genshin Impact Username or Name

On Genshin Impact, you can change the name of your character whenever you want.

To change your Genshin Impact username, you need to contact Genshin impact through email.

The reason behind it is that there is no option for you to change your username directly from your account settings.

First of all, send an email to genshin_cs@mihoyo.com, which is the official email address of Genshin Impact.

The “cs” in their email address is used for “customer service”.

First of all, choose the subject and use “Change of username” as a subject.

In the email, you need to tell them that you want to change your username.

You can also say that you have set an incorrect username by mistake.

After that, give them the username that you want to change to and provide the email address that is associated with your Genshin Impact account.

Here’s an example of an email to help you in writing, “Hi Genshin Impact support, I want to change the username of my miHoYo account because I’ve mistakenly set an incorrect one”.

After that, “Please help me to change it to “new username”. This is the email address that is associated with my account “youremail@gmail.com”.

Change “newusername” to the username that you want to use for your account and change “youremail@gmail.com” to the email address that is linked to your account.

How to change your Genshin Impact name

To change your Genshin Impact name, the first thing you need to do is to open the Paimon menu, click on the edit icon, then click on “Edit nickname”.

After clicking on “Edit nickname”, enter your new Genshin Impact name and click on “Confirm” to save your changes.

If you’re playing Genshin Impact on a PC, you need to press “Esc” from your keyboard to open the Paimon menu.

If someone wants to add you as a friend, they need your UID (user ID) instead of your name to add you.

However, your name will be shown in-game and in the chat when you’re playing multiplayer.

Step 1. Open the Paimon menu and click on “Edit nickname”
