There are 3 ways that you can use to submit an appeal and get unbanned on TikTok live.

On the top right corner of your profile, you need to tap on the menu icon.

To visit your settings, tap on “Settings and privacy”.

Step 2. Log out of TikTok

After tapping on “Settings and privacy”, it will take you to the “Settings and privacy” page.

Now, the next step is sign out of your TikTok account.

To begin with, scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap on “Log out”.

If you are using another TikTok account, you need to log out it as well.

Step 3. Tap on “Discover”

After logging out of all of your TikTok accounts, it will take you to the homepage of the app.

As a result, you will be using TikTok as a guest rather than a user.

Since you’re using TikTok as a guest, your contacts, Facebook friends, & mutual followers will not be synced.

Therefore, the Friends button will be changed by the Discover button.

Now, you can use the Discover button for the sake of searching hashtags, users, sounds and so on.

Although this is an indirect fix, it is still a reliable solution to get the Discover button back.

You can also create a new TikTok account to check if the button is available.

Final Words

The Discover button is very necessary on TikTok as it helps you to get video ideas.

It is difficult to find trending effects, hashtags and sounds without the Discover button.

A TikTok representative stated that the “For You” page is the same as the Discover button.

Therefore, they changed the Discover button with the Friends button.

This feature is launched to connect you with people you are already connected with.

Unluckily, a lot of users reported about the feature because it’s difficult to search for things on the app.

Having said that, the Friends button is in the beta-testing phase.

Additionally, Matt also posted a lot of screenshots about TikTok stories.

He also tagged @TikTokComms in one of his replies in order to ask whether the option is legit or not.

Why can’t I see profile views on TikTok?

You can’t see profile views on TikTok because your age is under 16 years old or have more than 5K followers.

As per TikTok, to access the profile view history feature, the users have to be aged 16 years old or above.

Additionally, you also need to have less than 5,000 followers to get the option.

You can set your age on TikTok by your TikTok profile > Menu > Settings and privacy > Manage account > Date of birth.

You cannot change your date of birth if you have already set it.

To change your contact information, the only thing you can do is to contact TikTok.

These requirements are not informed by the TikTok app, as a result, users do not know why they cannot access the profile view history feature.

To fix profile view history not showing on TikTok, you need to create a new account on TikTok or contact TikTok.

Use the feedback form in order to contact TikTok on the application.

If you’re on the app, go to your profile > Menu > Settings and privacy > Report a problem.

If you have set your date of birth incorrect to 16 years old and below, make a request to TikTok to update or change it.

Alternatively, if your date of birth is set to 16 years old and above but the profile view history feature is still not showing, ask TikTok to fix it for you.

Having said that, if you have more than 5,000 followers, your account will not be eligible for the option.

In this case, you need to create another TikTok account or use an account that contains less than 5,000 followers.

Below are 2 methods to fix the TikTok profile view history not showing.

Method 1. Contact TikTok

The first way is to contact TikTok.

There are a couple of methods that can be used to contact TikTok.

It can be done by reporting a problem on the app or using the TikTok feedback form.

To report a problem on the application, visit your profile > Menu > Settings and privacy > Report a problem.

After tapping on “Report a problem”, select the appropriate help categories, tap on “Need more help?”, tell them your issue, and tap on “Report”.

The second method to contact TikTok is to use the TikTok feedback form.

After opening the form, enter your email address (that is linked to your TikTok account) and username.

Choose “Change account information” as the topic and “Other” as the subtopic.

In the end, state the problem that you’re facing and submit the form.

You will get a response from TikTok via email in 1-3 business days.

Here’s an example of the description, “Hi TikTok team, my age is above 16 years and my account has less than 5K followers but the “Profile view history” feature is not working. Please help me to fix this”.

Just remember that you cannot get help from TikTok if you’re not at least 16 years old or you don’t have less than 5,000 followers.

The reason behind it is that you don’t meet the requirements to see your profile views.

If you don’t meet the requirements, the ideal way to deal with it is to create a new TikTok account.

On the other hand, you can use another TikTok account that contains less than 5K followers.

To make a new account, go to TikTok, tap on “Profile”, tap on your username on the top bar, and tap on “Add account”.

After tapping on “Add account”, sign up via your phone number, email address, or social media sites.

When you’re creating a new account, the next thing you need to ensure is your date of birth, set your date of birth to show that you are above 16 years old.

You need to set your age at 16 years old in order to meet the minimum age requirement for the profile view history feature.

Some users reported that the profile view history feature on one TikTok account is available but not on the other.

It is happening due to their followers if they have more than 5,000 followers on their account, they cannot get the option.

Your access to the profile view history feature will be restricted if your followers are more than 5,000 on TikTok.
