If you’re getting an issue with liking, following, or commenting, there is a great chance it is happening because you’re doing it too much.
Too much action will result in temporary blockage.
How to Fix TikTok not working
To fix TikTok not working, the first thing is to check if TikTok is down.
If TikTok is not down, you need to switch to a personal account or wait it out.

Method 2. Wait up to 24 hours
There are 3 common errors messages that you come across on TikTok.
The error messages are “tapping too fast”, “commenting too fast”, and “following too fast“.

The “tapping too fast” error message indicates that you are liking TikTok videos too fast.

To fix this, you need to move back to a business account and get at least a minimum of 1k followers.
Here’s a step by step guide on how to switch to a business account:
- Visit your TikTok profile.
- Tap on the menu icon.
- Choose “Settings and privacy”.
- Now, tap on “Manage account”.
- Tap on “Switch to Business Account”.
After moving back to a business account, you’ll be able to add a link to your bio if are able to get 1000 followers.
Method 4. Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data and vice-versa
The last method you can use to fix common issues on TikTok is to switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi and vice versa.
Connection issues is one of the common issues on TikTok.
If you are not connecting to TikTok, there is a great chance that you don’t have an internet connection.
In addition, it can also happen if you have a slow or weak internet connection.
If your internet connection is slow, your videos on “For You” page will take forever to load.
First of all, you need to check your internet speed on this URL: https://www.speedtest.net/.
If the download speed is under 2 Mbps, it shows that you have a slow internet connection.
To fix this, you need to either switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi or from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
In addition, you can also use an alternative Wi-Fi network for it.
